Information
The Circuit This circuit is narrow, twisty and often dusty because of under-use. Processions of cars are often seen here, because of inability of cars to overtake. Pit strategy here is the key to success. The circuit was slightly modified in 2003 to allow more overtaking. However, the basic nature of the track is unaltered. The current circuit has been built in a valley 19 kilometres outside Budapest. The valley provides natural vantage points for spectators. The track was opened for competitions in 1986 and held its first Formula One event in August same year. Record Holders
